As soon as a quality improvement objective is defined, the requirement of supporting data begins.  The goal of improving patient care may include reducing hospital length of stay, minimizing readmissions for the same cause, or changing the mortality rate for certain diagnosis.

Our solutions find their way to related departments with common interest.  Data flows seamlessly with minimal operator intervention between the systems.  A Neonatology/NICU example would be tracking a newborn birth from prenatal care to labor and delivery.  The data elements for the newborn continue to be tracked if he or she is admitted to the NICU.  Upon discharge from the NICU, growth and developmental data are collected by the high risk infant follow-up clinics.
